GrubMarket Review
Fresh, delicious organic foods delivered right to my door in the middle of winter at a reasonable price! Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? I thought so at first until I received a shipment from GrubMarket and now I’m hooked!!
I live in a very small town, so a lot of the products that are offered on GrubMarket aren’t always available to me in my area. For example, something as simple as purple cauliflower can’t be found where I live. I can order it from there for a very reasonable price. Actually only a dollar more than what the non-organic white cauliflower costs where I live, which isn’t bad. Not only that, but all orders over $49 ship free! How great is that? So not only do I get a huge variety of foods, beauty items and much more, but it’s delivered to my door for free if I reach$49!
GrubMarket firmly believes that you, your family, and your friends should always have the opportunity to eat well, and that price should never be a barrier between you and healthy, delicious, and freshly-harvested food. They are committed to providing you with the best grocery experience possible, by regularly offering you wholesome foods at wholesale prices. They work with a variety of farms and artisan producers to bring you high-quality foods and other items at prices that are up to 50% OFF what you’d typically find at Whole Foods and other grocers.
We received the California Fruit Bounty Box and I have to say that all the fruit arrived perfect. Nothing was over ripe, bruised or bad. The apples were sweet and delicious, the oranges were divine and well the pomegranate was perfect! We enjoyed every piece of fruit that came in the box. I also really appreciated the fact that avocado still needed a couple of days to ripped along with the pears. Nothing is worse than getting fruit that has to be consumed immediately. Here’s a picture of our California Bounty Box:
So what do you get in the California Harvest Box? As you can see above in my picture, we received Dates, pomegranate, blood oranges, oranges, grapefruit, pears, avocados, pineapple and apples. However, this box will vary depending on what’s in season which is pretty awesome.
You will receive the best of summer fruit, including peaches, apricots, cherries, and plums. During the fall & winter, you will receive a mix of citrus, pears, apples and more, all grown from the best California farmers.
The California Harvest boxes are also available in two different sizes. You have the regular size box, which I received above. This box is designed to feed 2-3 feed people and priced at $29.99 per delivery. Need a bigger box? No worries! They also offer a large box that feeds 5-6 people and priced at $44.99.
About GrubMarket:
GrubMarket is all about providing accessibility, by delivering the following key benefits to their stakeholders:
-
Unbeatable prices: While many food delivery services and premium grocers cater to high-income earners, GrubMarket is committed to making fresh and delicious food accessible to all people by keeping their prices consistently lower than all comparable grocers.
-
Convenience: Through their reliable operations, GrubMarket is committed to providing people in food deserts (ie. areas without farmers’ markets and fresh grocery stores) with access to high-quality, freshly-harvested items that they would typically find at a farmers’ market or Whole Foods store. Additionally, they offer free delivery across the U.S. for all orders above $59.
-
Food Discovery: GrubMarket provides a platform for their partnering small farms and vendors to sell their items directly to customers. Many of these food producers have challenges getting shelf space at grocery stores, and/or may not want to pay the upfront costs of hosting farmers’ market tables. GrubMarket gives these food producers access to tens of thousands of customers through a robust online marketplace, regardless of the food producers’ production scale.
SHOP & SAVE:
All As They Grow Up readers can receive 20% off their first order by using code GRUB20 and free shipping on orders over $59.
